Cunard steamship RMS CARPATHIA in Dry Dock 4 at Erie Basin, Brooklyn, New York, 1913. Launched in 1902 at Newcastle upon Tyne, England. In April 1912 she rescued 705 passengers in lifeboats from the RMS TITANIC. Converted to troop transport for WWI, sunk by German U-boat July 17, 1918. [1899×2230]
