Hay-on-Wye – Town of books. I found a little town in my homeland of Wales that’s famous for its many bookshops. I spend 4 hours there and barely scratched the surface. Here’s what I came away with for around £15. I look forward to my next visit!
Roman bronze bracelet. Object dated back to 3rd-4th century CE, was found in a grave at necropolis at ancient Viminacium, Roman town located near Kostolac, eastern Serbia. [960×759]
In 1400, the construction of a progressive gothic style charnel-house, The Cemetery Church of All Saints, began. Curiously, it was not sponsored by the local church or town, but by the Cistercian Order. (To be continued…) . 💀
