A handsome Pittsburgh Victorian man taken too soon from the Spanish Flu. He was buried in Saint Mary’s Cemetery (the famous sister Cathy Cesnik went to school at the church here).
Allegheny Cemetery Monument for the victims of the 1862 Union arsenal factory explosion. 45 people lie here but there were thought to be 93 victims, mostly women. It is thought that street gun powder was ignited by the friction of the trotting of a trolly horse. Most think it was the Confederates.

Charles Avery, abolishionist pictured with an overturned slave ship. He supported the slaves and rumor has it that he posed as his stage coach driver while transporting slaves on the Underground Railroad. This huge monument is hilltop at the Butler Entrance. Allegheny Cemetery- Pittsburgh, PA
