1100 year old Christian fresco saved from Faras cathedral, Sudan. [OC]. Sudan had Christian kingdoms for over 700 years. This amazing fresco of young men burning in hell is in Sudan’s national museum. Warsaw also has several. The cathedral is now under the Meroe dam, as is Buhen fortress. Very sad.
